113. ERIN CONNOR: Emo music nostalgia, parasocial relationships, and writing for your teenage self

This week on LiteraryHype Podcast, I'm chatting with Erin Conner about her latest book, Still Into You. This novel is about a metal band frontman who hasn't given an interview in 8 years, but is now ready to talk.... only to his ex girlfriend. There is so much nostalgia packed into these pages, especially if you were a Vans/Converse-wearing music junkie of the early 2000s.

Talking about Still Into You by Aaron Connor. This is such a fun book with the nostalgia slapping you right on page one. I got to talk to Aaron while we were at love Y'all, Atlanta all about this book and music. Would we talk more about K-pop than I really intended to? But it's me. So if you don't expect me to talk about K-pop, I don't know what's wrong with you at this point.
